Nocturnal Letters Walkthrough
After waking up, look around the house. [Press the cardboard boxes on the first screen, then the umbrella, and the small table next to the door for the first second and third Creator’s Notes. A sound will tell you when you’ve got them]. Exit.
When you get to the second house, pick up the FLASHLIGHT from the ironing board. Enter the kitchen, talk to Ruth and you will get the JUG.
[You will find some Creator’s Notes:
*Press the bird cage in the kitchen *Press the black-covered mirror in the room next to the kitchen *Press the fire extinguisher next to the stairs *Upstairs, press the stuff you find next to the closet door. *Press the glass of coke on the table in the TV- room *Press the windows in the TV-room]
Now you can exit the house.
Go to the river [press the trailer when you first see it] and use the JUG on the water. Watch, then return to the house.
Talk to Eve for the KEY TO EVE’S ROOM. Go there, [turn around and press the small note stuck on her door] then press the mirror. Watch
When back in your own house, press the boxes to get BATTERIES [press the blanket in your bed] , then exit.
Go to the kitchen, take the KEY TO THE FOOD CELLAR from the kitchen drawers.
Go to the backyard, pick up the CD- ROM [and press the bench], then enter the food cellar.
[Press the orange object in the background], pick up the MAGNET, pick up LETTER 1. Read it, then watch.
Return to the kitchen, talk to Ben to get the TRAILER KEY.
Enter the trailer, [press the round sticker on the wall], pick up the KNITTING NEEDLES from the drawers, pick up LETTER 2. Read.
Return to the house, go upstairs and use the KNITTING NEEDLES on the door to the computer room. Inside, [turn around and press the lowest painting on the wall], use the CD-ROM on the computer. Read.
Go to Eve’s room. Talk to her to get LETTER 3. Read, then watch.
The last thing you do… when you’re in your house again, find the shiny thing between the floorboards (when standing next to the bed and overlooking the room). Use the MAGNET, and then just watch and enjoy! Thanks for playing!

The best scary point n click I’ve ever played.
This is the best point and click I’ve ever played. The story was super scary and creative, and I was on edge the whole time. I didn’t want it to end!

I’ve asked the writer of the game, this girl’s either actually possessed by demons, or it is, as the doctors say, a result of chemicals. Either conclusion.

I have played a lot of point and click games, and most of them were disappointing.
This was a well written game; great story line. I agree that the graphics weren’t the greatest, but there are a lot of really crappy games out there with fantastic graphics.
As for the hecklers out there: if you don’t like a game, feel free to voice your opinions, but for god’s sake at least learn how to spell before doing so! How could anyone trust the opinions of someone who can’t even spell the simplest of words!

I loved this game, it’s not really scary but it is actually pretty clever
I think the graphics problem might be to do with newgrounds resizing the game… you can make it clearer by zooming out, but obviously that makes the frame pretty tiny. But you can compromise, a bit clearer and a bit smaller

i did actually enjoy this game tbh, i dont normally like stuff with this type of plot.
Not a bad game, slow starting and maybe a bit hard to get into but a good story line, would have enjoyed some puzzles or problem solving within it too though, but over all not bad.7/10

THE GAME WAS GAY
This left me with some questions. Like was she just crazy? Did she kill her mother, or wasn’t her mother dead? What happened to her brother, sister, and dad? And the ending confused me. I don’t know if I was just me or if it was the game, but what happened at the factory and why will blood shed?
Other than that, and that awful blury-ness. I would say it was a good game.
I thought this was actually, quite good, great storyline!
At first I was thinking “Is she a zombie??” then I thought at the end “Oh, the effects from the accident!! That explains it!”
10/10 from me, along with scaryness. =) I wish there was a sequal. ^_^

Hey c’mon this game SUCKS. NAVIGATION IS JUST IMPOSSIBLE!!! The graphics are really bad and the part in the lake wasn’t even scary. I got the key from that girl but couldn’t find her freaking room I give up this game is boring and sucks

Look, to get the diary out of the way you must go to your bottom right corner of your screen. There you will see something that says 100%. You click on that and your screen wil look smaller and you will see arrows. Another way to do it is to uptate your computer. If you do this, wel if you ever get that diary out of ure way, it also helps you move around while your playing the game. Play Emortis 2 it rox alot!!
When I first starting playing this game I thought, “The graphics seem impossible to see stuff, ect, ect”, but in all honesty it helps give you that ‘creepy’ feeling! You can see all the objects you need, basically. Loved the ending, very original. All in all, I’d give it a 9/10!

I’m the kind of person who hates horror stuff ^^ but my brother and I decided to play this game today and it was actually quite good. Creepy in some parts, but good. ^^

Jeeez, people… You don’t NEED to click the chinese umbrella etc. to exit the first area. You NEVER NEED to do anyt illogical clicking in this game. And if you read the ORIGINAL walkthrough on the ORIGINAL WEBPAGE, you will know such things.

WALKTHROUGH
1. Click the diary and read it to get some background.
2. In order to leave you own little house you need to click on the Chinese Umbrella and the round table by the door. You’ll hear a noise when you click these.
3. You can then leave your house and enter the main house.
4. In the first location, click on the item described as “some of your mum’s stuff” you should get a flaslight.
5. Click the door in the picture in this location and you should end up in the dining room.
6. You can chat with your dad and Eve here and read the newspaper.
7. Go right and click the covered mirror, you’ll hear the sound again.
8. You” hear similar sound in the TV room when you click on the window and on the table in front of the TV
9. Work your way around the the kitchen. If you talk to your mum she’ll give you a jug.
10. Again you’ll hear the noise if you click the caged birds in the kitchen.
11. You can now leave the house and you’ll get the choice of where to go.
12. Choose to go to the river and when you get there you’ll see your reflection in the water which scares you and causes you to drop the jug.
13. Return to the main house and talk to Eve.
14. Eve will then give you the key to her room.
15. Enter Eve’s room and look in the mirror (creepy bit!)
16. When you wake up, you’re back in your little house.
17. Search the emptied boxes to get batteries for the flashlight.
18. Return to the main house and talk to your dad, Ben.
19. Go to the kitchen and search the drawers to get the cellar key.
20. Go up to Eve’s room and take a look at Eve on her bed.
21. Go out to the Back Yard and get the CD which is hung up to scare the birds.
22. Go into the cellar and get the magnet and the letter. Read the letter.
23. You’ll then get trapped in the cellar and some more of the story will be revealed.
24. When you’re released return to the house and talk to your dad again. He’ll reveal some more of the story and give you keys to his trailer.
25. Go outside (to the river) and enter Dad’s trailer.
26. On the first screen click the circular plate at the back, you’ll hear the sound again.
27. Click the drawer to find some knitting needles.
28. Get another letter from the floor of the trailer and read it.
29. Return to the main house. Use the knitting needles to pick the lock to Jake’s room.
30. Put the CD in the computer to read some more about the story.
31. There is a picture on the wall in the room which makes the sound again.
32. At this point I then returned to my house. Upon clicking the bed I got the sound again.
33. Returning to the main house I went to Eve’s room and talked to her, these then revealed the next section of the story.
34. Upon finding yourself outside go to the river for the next story bit.
35. You’ll find yourself back in your house again.
36. Search between the floorboards to find the necklace your brother left you, this will then reveal the final chapter of the story.
a wonderful game i must say.
david and i entertained our selves for hours in our bedroom playing this!!!
