Also, Exmortis had its storyline flaws, but if you look past all that I give it a 5/5. Those who said it wasn’t scary are probably lying to seem tough.
This is one of the most paranormal masterpiece point ‘n click game series.

For example…. the diary claims that it’s May and June and yet speaks of not getting caught in the winter cold in the forest. And it did not seem like a place south of the equator to me… where they have seasons that are the opposite of the Northern Hemisphere. Seems like a pretty bad mistake there. The writing wasn’t bad, at least it seemed grammatically correct upon a glance.

As someone else also stated above — where did the modern kitchen come from? If the place had been haunted for over 100 years and obviously built long before microwaves (introduced in 1955) and dishwashers and such… why is there such a thing available in the kitchen? Did they go to Best Buy or Sears and pick it up ? Did they ask someone to come by and deliver and/or install it, only to find there is actually no electricity – oh yeah, and lots of blood, and no residents?

These are the things that made me wrinkle my nose at this game. I think it had potential but that kind of thing is just sloppy in my opinion and takes away from the fun.
