Seldom do I ever quit or give up….but this one did me in. (room 2) I couldn’t do it even with the walkthrough.
Things just didn’t seem to work the way they should….at least according to the walkthrough. Perhaps the code ‘QUEEN’ is different in each game ? I didn’t have the symbols needed to spell it. No offense, but the game wasn’t good enough to be disappointed about quitting. =(

First one was a breeze.

Walkthrough
First Room:
Turn right and you will see a sink. Click on it and pick up the golden key.

Go to the right and click on the picture on top of the desk. You will get IX at the back of the picture. Click on the drawers. Use the golden key at the top drawer and receive VI. Click on the third drawer and get the hammer. Turn back and click at the bottom of the desk. Get the penknife sticking to the bottom part of the desk.

Use the hammer on the mirror on top of the sink. You will get II. Turn back to the view with the desk and bed. You will notice an air vent on top of the bed. click on it and use the penknife to take out the screws. Get number one.

Once done you will be facing the bed. Click on the pillow on top of the bed to get III.Zoom out and click the bottom of the bed to get VII. Zoom out again and click the bottom left of the bed. You will zoom in face the floors. Notice the squarish tile on the trim of the wall. Click on it and get VIII.

Go back to the main door to solve the puzzle. The idea is to make all the rows, columns and diagonal lines add up to 15 (XV).
Answer to the puzzle:
First row: VIII, I, VI
Second row: III, V, VII
Third row: IV, IX, II

Game finish~

Walkthrough
Second Room:
click on the panel next to the door. Solve the puzzle.
The idea is to turn all the circles into green. Try a few times and you will notice a pattern to it. Once you solve it, you will get a queen.
Hint: Once a dot is clicked the connecting dots will also change colour.

Turn right. Use your hammer on the display. Find the queen inside the ship. Once done, click on the bottom right of the display column and locate the golden key. Use the key on the bottom left of the display and get the queen from the drawer.

Turn left twice. Get the power cables from the bottom shelf. Use the penknife on the cables and get the strip wires. You will need them later. click on the left stack of books and read alice in wonderland. Notice the time. (quarter to six). Click the book until you reach THE END. Notice the circular bump. Use the penknife on it. Go to the right stack of books. Take a look at the Ancient Glyphs and Signs. click the box on the bottom shelf and turn the signs until it reads QUEEN.

Turn left and go to the clock. Turn the hands so that it reads a quarter to six. (5.45). Click the bottom panel and use your penknife to open it. You will see a fuse holder. Take the fuse and replace it with the strip wire. Now you can open the dumb waiter next to the door. By now, you should have 8 queens altogether.

Go back to the main door with the chess board. Place the queens in a way that all queens will not end up killing each other.

once done, the game is over~

VIII is on the wall at the bottom baseboard. Face the bed, and click the bottom part of the wall towards the right, near the frame of the bed closest to the wall.
