Something Amiss is a point and click adventure game created by author : Tucker Bowen to promote his book of the same name.
This game is available in 2 chapters. The laboratory and the jungle.
The first chapter sets the stage and has you trapped in a dark, mysterious laboratory. Search the lab for clues to why you’re alone and try to find a way out.You’ll need to remember a password at the end of Chapter 1 so you can play Chapter 2.
The second chapter – After escaping the MRI room, Alice discovers she’s no longer in Washington D.C., instead she’s lost in the jungle. There’s a lot more to explore in this chapter and the puzzles are more intricate.
To play the games, simply use the cursor to guide Alice around the environments. When you see an object you’d like to examine, use, or talk to, click and hold over it to bring up a small menu. A handy save feature is available for both titles, just hit the [esc] key any time during play.

It does not load properly.
oh and if you want a walkthrough go to yahoo and type something amiss walkthrough and click a site and you will eventually find the walkthrough and if you want be more specific type somthing amiss part 1 2 or 3 walkthrough
this game is retarded its to simple i mean wow hold down the mouse key to see the actions you can do with the object i mean i whats the deal cant they make any better games i mean reall there are no games that someone can playwithout thinking gosh this borin
The problem about the window is that I have to keep rolling the side and down bars to see everything and even to see what Alice is saying. But sometimes my hand is too slow and I miss it, and then I have to roll the bar again so I can point the thing once more and so on!
Thus, I quit!
Why can’t I play the game in a max window? It won’t let me! And I’ve tried to post a bug problem on the bolg, but can’t find a “post something” button! I quit trying!
To see the menu (including “hints”) during the game just push your escape key.

It’s not hard but some of the puzzles are a little annoying.
If you get really fed up put “something amiss walkthrough” into google and knock yourself out.

this game was really dumb….. i didnt even understand wat to do. w/e…. i dont even want to know how the 3rd one turns out….. =) jkjk…. thts mean.. oh well.
actually, before you start a chapter, you can look at the hints that the site gives. that practically gives you all the answers.
the only problem there though…I can’t look at the hints while playing – but maybe I’m being a bit slow.
on the first bit
yew interact with things by click and hold
pick up the coin on the machine and use it unscrew the vents screws
computer room
pick up the recorder and hard drive
first room
use the grate to pry open a loose tile
use the cable with the hard drive and plug into socket
i cant help yew with chapter two coz my computer wont load it sozz

if you want a walkthrough: in google type in something amiss walkthrough and there is a lot of choices to pick from. choose something amiss chapters 1 and 2… this should help you!

this game is awsome! it has the best graphics i have ever seen on a point and click game like this! plus, that girl is HOT!!!
When you come back up to the main game screen, click start new game and it should bring you to where you can enter in the password.
it wouldn’t let me go to the second chapter!! i finished the first but then it went back to the menu, and I know the password, but it won’t let me put it in anywhere. Help please!!!

i only did after using the coin and going through the vent then inside the computer room, after that i couldnt figure out what to do even if i read the hint still didnt help, any clues people?
That was freaking awesome. I kind of figured out the twist at the end but still very good. When does 3 come out? I won’t be commenting on it anymore

Click and hold down the mouse to interact with objects. There’s a help section at the top right corner of the screen which explains how to play in more detail. Good luck.
